Welcome to our Product Updates communication for November - from new features and enhancements to bug fixes. 

PV CRM (COR)

New Features

  • We are thrilled to announce significant enhancements to the TenantSure module, addressing key concerns around cancellation notifications and credit card details updates. This release introduces the ability to send email alerts to both tenants and PMC users for these crucial events.

 

Notification for TenantSure Cancelled by Tenant:

A new email template, "TenantSure Cancelled by Tenant," is now available within the "Tenant Insurance" category. PMC users have the option to configure alerts for employees, ensuring they receive notifications when cancellations take place. Consequently, tenants cancelling their TenantSure insurance via the portal will initiate email alerts sent to both the tenant and the subscribed PMC user.

 

Notification for TenantSure Payment Setup Changes:

An additional email template, "TenantSure Payment Setup Changes," is now available within the  "Tenant Insurance" category. PMC users now have the capability to configure alerts for employees, ensuring they receive notifications when tenants update their credit card details for TenantSure payments via the portal. Consequently, tenants modifying their credit card information for TenantSure insurance will prompt email alerts sent to both the tenant and the subscribed PMC user.




  • Notification for Tenant Insurance Cancellation:

We have incorporated a new email template category, "Tenant Insurance," which includes a specific template type called "Tenant Insurance Cancellation." PMC users now have the capability to establish Email Template Policies tailored to this category and template type. These policies facilitate the automatic generation of email alerts, ensuring swift notification to both tenants and designated PMC employees in the event of insurance cancellation.

Notification for Tenant Insurance Updates:

We have introduced a new email template, "Tenant Insurance Changes," within the "Tenant Insurance" category. PMC users now have the ability to establish Email Template Policies specific to this category and template type. These policies enable automatic email alerts, promptly notifying both tenants and designated PMC employees whenever there are updates to tenant insurance information.

 

  • Users can now enjoy improved insights with the addition of the "# of Applications" column and filter. This feature displays the total count of lease applications in progress, submitted, pending further information, and pending decision for each unit, providing a comprehensive overview. Additionally, users can apply column sorting for added convenience.

 

Improvements

  • In the last release, we enhanced the move-out inspection process by introducing new fields in the Inspector app during inspection completion. In this release, the following new fields are now successfully incorporated into the inspection report: 
    • End of Tenancy Comment
    • Agree/Disagree
    • Security Deposit = Sum of Fees and Repair Charges excluding pet damage
    • Pet Deposit = Pet Damage Charge
    • Tenant and Landlord signature on move-out
    • Forwarding address
  • We've made significant improvements to how the system manages Month to Month (MTM) leases. The system now prevents the creation of items for MTM leases in the Lease Lifecycle Policy > Renewal. You won't find the option to perform renewal operations on MTM leases anymore, ensuring a smoother process.

 

The system also now limits "Auto Moveout" to YES for all MTM leases in the Lease Lifecycle Policy > Vacate. These updates make it easier for users to manage lease lifecycle policies in a more precise and effective way and prevent lease transition conflicts for MTM leases.

 

  • We've enhanced the user experience by adding a help icon beside Frequency and Frequency Measure fields in the Inspection Policy. Hover over the icon to view a tooltip providing further clarification on the usage of these fields.  Now, users can better understand and use these fields to set up report generation frequency.

Frequency:

Select a number from 0 to 31 to specify how often you want the report to be generated. For example, if you enter 2, the inspection will be created every 2 times according to the selected frequency measure.

Frequency Measure:

Choose the time unit for the frequency from the options: Day, Week, Month, or Year. For example, if you select 'Month' and a Frequency of 2, the inspection will be created every 2 months.

 

  • In the  Tenant Insurance report, we've addressed an issue with the Status filter displaying duplicate values. Users may have noticed identical labels for different statuses, causing confusion. To enhance clarity, we've updated the labels according to their respective statuses, ensuring a more accurate representation and avoiding the perception of duplicates.



PV Accounting (FIN)

New Features

  • The Aggregated Transfers lister will now include specific columns related to returned payments due to NSFs:
  • Return Items Amount
  • Return Items Fee
  • Return Items Count

These new columns will be sortable for user convenience. Additionally, a new lister named "Aggregated Transfers Summary" will be introduced. The enhanced lister will be exportable to Excel, providing users with a comprehensive and efficient overview of returned payments due to NSFs in bulk.

  • We've added a Target Code field to the Money In Batches functionality, so that you can now associate payments with specific outstanding charges, ensuring accurate and efficient batch processing.

 

Improvements

  •  To improve data visibility  we have updated the Purchase Orders lister to include the following columns so you can manage and purchase order records more efficiently:
    • Property Code
    • Property Address
    • Property Type
    • GL Account numbers
    • GL Account names

  • To improve tenant identification and enhance communication, the Tenant Email column has been added to the Maintenance Requests lister. This addition allows you to easily filter and find Maintenance Requests based on the primary tenants' email addresses.
  • We have fixed an issue where users can’t edit and save Vendor details. Users will no longer get an error when updating Vendor details in both Non-Yardi and Yardi-integrated PMCs. 
  •  We have fixed an issue where the system throws an error when generating the Extended Ledger Report. Users will no longer get an error when generating the report and will be able to export the report once generated.

  • Fix to expose ‘Download Proof of Payments’ option in “Billing & Payments” workflow (New UI).
  • Fix to ‘Direct Banking’ Payment option in “Add Payment Method” workflow (New UI).
  •  Fix to ‘Direct Banking’ Payment option in “Add Payment Method” workflow (New UI).
  • Fix to ‘Privacy Policy’ and ‘Disclosure Statement’ in TenantSure Insurance workflow (New UI).
  • Add Notice of Rent Increase to “Notices & Renewals” tab in Tenant Portal.
  • Styling updates to Allow Tenants to Accept Renewal Offers in Tenant Portal (New UI).
  • Fix to Maintenance Request submission issue for Yardi-integrated PMCs.

Tenant App

  • Fix to incorrect label displayed on Emergency dialog box in “Create New Maintenance Request” workflow
  • Fix to ‘Expiry Date’ in Insurance Workflow (Android-only)

Inspector App

  • Auto-populate and lock the Inspection Type drop-down menu if only 1 option is available
  • Fix to apply “Custom Name” to ‘Select a Policy’ drop-down menu in “Create New Inspection” Workflow
  • Fix to add Start/End of Tenancy in Inspected Areas section during inspection submission
  • Enhancement to capture “Tenant Forwarding Email Address” in Move-out Inspection workflow
  • Enhancement to Auto-refresh Inspections list after a new inspection is created
