January 2026 Product Update - 1st Monthly Release

New Features

Amenity Fees & Payment Visibility in the Tenant Portal

We’re introducing the first phase of the Amenity Payables experience in the Tenant Portal to improve transparency around amenity-related charges and payments.

Amenity Fees & Deposits Display

  • Tenants can now view applicable amenity fees and deposits directly in the Tenant Portal.
  • Each amenity booking shows:
    • Fee amount, with a clear indication of whether it’s charged hourly or daily
    • Deposit amount, including details on when and how deposits are returned
    • Payment status for the booking
  • Amenity details are available for new, upcoming, and pending bookings.

Payment Guidance

  • Bookings clearly indicate when payment is required.
  • A note or tooltip explains that amenity payments must currently be completed outside the portal, along with instructions on how to pay (for example, e-transfer or front desk), based on your property’s setup.
  • Payment instructions and due dates are shown where available.

Booking Status Updates

  • Bookings that are cancelled due to unpaid fees are clearly marked, helping tenants understand the reason for cancellation.

Improvements

Updated Terms and Conditions for the Resident Portal

We’ve updated the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Statement for the Resident Portal to reflect recent legal and compliance updates.

The latest versions are now available through the portal links, ensuring residents always have access to the most current information.

Reduced False Alerts for Card Transactions

We’ve improved how the system handles rare card transaction mismatches caused by temporary connectivity issues. If a rejected payment is confirmed as expected, related security alerts will now be suppressed for up to two months, reducing unnecessary notifications while keeping monitoring in place.

Corrected Payment Options for Canceled and Closed Amenity Reservations

We’ve fixed an issue in the Tenant Portal where Pay Deposit and Pay Fee buttons were incorrectly available for amenity reservations that were Canceled, Closed, or Rejected.

With this update, payment options are now properly disabled for these reservation statuses, helping prevent unintended payments and improving the overall booking experience.

Payment Details Now Visible for Requested Amenity Reservations

We’ve fixed an issue in the Tenant Portal where payment details were not displayed for amenity reservations with a Requested status. With this update, payment information now appears correctly, giving users better visibility into their reservation details.

Correct Payment Amount Displayed for Requested Amenity Reservations

We’ve fixed an issue in the Tenant Portal where the payment amount was incorrectly shown as $0.00 when paying a deposit or fee for amenity reservations in a Requested status. The correct payment amount is now displayed, ensuring a smooth and accurate payment experience.

Prevented Building Assignments for Suspended Landlords

We’ve fixed an issue in the CRM where buildings could be added to a suspended landlord. With this update, the system now correctly prevents building assignments while a landlord is suspended, helping ensure data accuracy and compliance with business rules.

New “Not Refunding” Status for Direct Debit Transactions

We’ve introduced a new “Not Refunding” status for Direct Debit transactions. This status is applied when the processing fee for a refund exceeds the refund amount. In these cases, the transaction will be clearly marked as Not Refunding and no refund will be issued.

This update improves transparency and helps set clear expectations around refund outcomes.
