Highlight Feature
Introduced a new General Questions feature for custom screening questions in the Leasing Engine Admin and Shop. Admins can create True/False or Multiple-Choice questions, assign them to specific applicant types and organizational levels, and mark questions as mandatory or optional. Applicants can view, answer, and update all relevant custom screening questions on the Personal Information page, with responses saved automatically. Admins can also review submitted answers directly in the Admin Dashboard, with questions and responses displayed clearly for quick and easy verification.
Customer Benefit: This feature makes collecting and reviewing custom screening information easier, ensures all required questions are answered, and provides admins with full oversight in a single, centralized system.
Improvements
- Enhanced General Questions in Leasing Engine Admin to allow setting where each custom screening question applies. Admins can now assign questions to the Organization, Province, State, Complex, or Building level, and the system shows the question based on the selected scope, giving priority to the most specific level.
- Implemented the applicant type selection for custom screening questions in Leasing Engine Admin. Admins can now assign question sets to Main Applicant, Co-Applicant, Guarantor, or All, ensuring that questions apply only to the relevant applicant type.
- Created the question type selection modal for custom screening questions in Leasing Engine Admin. Admins can now select a question type (True or False or Multiple Choice), enter a question, and click Save to add it. A prompt appears if no type is selected, ensuring all questions are properly assigned.
- Added the True/False question type for custom screening questions in the Leasing Engine Admin. Admins can now create binary questions using a modal that allows text entry with bold and italic formatting, set the question as mandatory or optional, and save or cancel the entry. The new question type appears in the list labeled as True/False and supports up to 200 characters.
- Added the Multiple-Choice question type for custom screening questions in the Leasing Engine Admin. Admins can create questions with formatted text, add up to five answer options, and mark questions as mandatory or optional. This enables structured data collection and easier management of applicant responses.
- Implemented a “General Questions” section on the Personal Information page for custom screening questions in the Leasing Engine Shop. Applicants can view and answer questions assigned to them, make changes, and save responses in one place. This streamlines information collection and ensures all required questions are visible and answerable within the same page.
- Expanded the “General Questions” page for custom screening questions in the Leasing Engine Shop. Applicants can view Yes/No and Multiple-Choice questions assigned to them, provide explanations, and have their responses saved automatically. The page adjusts to show all questions and works across devices.
- Added a General Questions section in the Leasing Engine Admin Dashboard. Admins can view the questions and answers submitted by each applicant (Main Applicant, Co-Applicant, or Guarantor) directly within their dashboard cards, making it easier to review responses quickly.
Fixes
- Fixed the missing Pending lease signature step so the application status now progresses in the correct order. The status moves from Requires lease approval to Pending lease signature, then to Pending move-in payment if applicable, and finally to Requires lease countersign. All relevant user roles, admin, manager, and agent, trigger the correct status updates.
- Addressed the "State" label not updating to "Province" when Canada is selected in the manual address entry flow in Leasing Engine Shop. When Canada is selected, the dropdown correctly lists provinces, and the label now displays "Province". The field below continues to show Postal Code.
- Resolved the employment date discrepancy between Leasing Engine Shop and Leasing Engine Admin. Start Date and End Date now display in Admin exactly as submitted in Shop, ensuring the applicant’s submitted dates match without any differences.
