November 2024 Monthly Product Updates - Property Vista

Highlight Feature

We made some updates the our existing Snow Log Feature. The update includes the following:

    • A minimum of one photo upload is required for Weather Conditions. The purpose is to visually confirm the weather condition:
    • "External Stairwell" to be added as another category, with sub-categories as "Shovel" and "Salt"
    • "Driveway" to be added as another category, with sub-categories as "Salt" and "Plow"
    • Text definitions were added for the three categories of Driveway, Sidewalk, Pathways
    • A minimum of one photo upload is required per Ground Condition category such as Parking Lot, Driveway, Pathways (not per sub-category)
    • Change "Snow Log Name" section title to "Name of Person Completing Snow Log"
    • First three inspections will need to be manually created, then the rest will be auto-generated 3 times per day (morning, afternoon, evening)
        • 3 logs auto-generated daily via nightly process (targeting 1-2am ET)
        • Configurable via CRM policy
        • Including start/end date for PMC staff

 

New Features:

In this release we made some updates to the Amenity fields. The updates include:

    • Improve tool tip language for the Lead Time, Book in Advance and Max Occupancy fields
    • Renaming of the following fields
        • Lead time-- Advance Notice in hours
        • What Impacted-- Booking Conflicts
        • Book in Advance-- Advanced booking in days

 

Improvements:

If a tenant has an Autopay set up with a start date which is a few days later than the billing date, or the date the tenant should pay the rent, we improved system intelligence to acknowledge that the autopay should initiate on that same billing date, to avoid late payments. System will now charge the autopay in a timely fashion.

We made the following updates to inspections:

    • If an auto-inspection is created for a specific lease and is in Status Completed or Submitted or Draft; system will not create another duplicate inspection for the same lease with same inspection type
    • If a manual inspection is created for a specific lease and is in Status Completed or Submitted or Draft; system will not create another duplicate inspection for the same lease with same inspection type
    • If an inspection is auto-created or manually created and is cancelled, system will create another inspection according to the inspection schedule and given that setup is configured correctly
    • The flow only impacts Move outs & pre-move outs

 

PV Accounting

Highlight Feature

There was an issue with the Arrears Custom Dashboard, where the CRM was not showing the links to filtered tables from the dashboard values. The bug is now resolved. Users once again are able to click on the links and access the filtered tables.

KNOWN ISSUE: There is still an issue with exporting the filtered tables into Excel. We will address this issue for our December release. There is an alternative to generating the same data as on the dashboard from the Lease Arrears Report. To access the report, go to Reports > Lease Arrears and run a report based on the required parameters.

 

 

PV Web Experiences

Highlight Feature

Inspector App - Inspections will now be scheduled on a time-based frequency and will no longer be created based on the submission of the prior inspection for recurring inspections. These back-end configurations will flow through to the Inspector App.

New Features:

Vista Websites - Custom map widget enabled with expanded tiles for tenant use for selection of nearby businesses.

Vista Websites - Custom property marketing images widget connecting property gallery in PV-CRM with the property website configurations.

Inspector App - React Native updates for appstore compliance and persistence of inspection data when upgrading app version or in areas of low connectivity.

Inspector App - We are optimizing inspection scheduling as part of the CRM-based enhancements to our Inspections workflow. Improvements:

Prospect Portal: Fix to Portal Header logo image overlaying the lease application workflow.

Vista CRM: Fix to Promotional images workflow to generate publicly available image URL.

Tenant Portal: Fix to login error encountered when special characters are present in First Name or Last Name fields.
