PV CRM
Infrastructure Changes for Security and Performance:
Recently our development operations and infrastructure teams recently completed a migration of servers from data centres in Ontario to Québec.
As of May 31st, 2024, all of our servers and data storage for Canadian customers are located Québec.
Highlight Feature - We're excited to announce enhancements to the Product Catalog and Concessions modules, designed to provide users with greater flexibility and functionality. All items under Product Catalog and Concessions now feature additional columns for Expiry Date, and Term Span. These columns offer valuable insights into item attributes and are displayed by default. |
New Features
Improvements
- When converting a lead where the lead's email address is associated with a resident, former resident or application, user's will now see a message indicating that the email is already in use.
Additionally a link will be provided to allow the user to proceed with starting a lease application or lease for the lead.
Previously a user would have to know where to go and what action to take - this interface improvement will simplify the process when a prospect's email is already in use in the system.
- Clearly indicate editable and non-editable fields to remove any confusion on what changes can be saved
- We have addressed formatting issues in the New Brunswick Lease Agreement templates

Highlight Feature - For those PMCs currently syncing with Yardi Voyager, the CRM no longer shows a mismatch between the Vista and Voyager lease ledgers. Since the lease ledger is updated correctly, the Tenant Portal and N4 forms now also show correct values. We are still working on fixing the Lease Arrears reports. In the meanwhile the Lease Balances report can be used as a replacement for the Lease Arrears report. |
New Features
- Vista and Yardi Voyager are now syncing Change Orders (COs). A CO is generated and created in Voyager, when a Purchase Order is edited in Vista, prior to being completed.
Improvements
- Property Owner Users (POUs) now have restricted access to reports. With this update, POUs can only access reports they have created, ensuring they only see data relevant to their assigned building.
- Vista was sending the wrong payment data to Voyager. Now Vista is able to send the correct payment data to Voyager, successfully creating a payment in Voyager.
- To ensure accurate dates of transactions within Voyager, we've implemented updates for negative receipts and NSF fee charges originating from Vista. Now, for negative receipts, the Date Received and Deposit Date will align with the Created Date, while the Post Month will match the month of creation, for consistency.
Similarly, NSF fee charges created in Voyager from Vista will adhere to these date conventions. The Due Date and Invoice Date will mirror the Created Date, and the Post Month will correspond to the month of creation.
- We’ve implemented improvements to tax default in Purchase Requests (PR) and Expenses. Previously, when PRs were created, taxes did not default to the mapped tax account for the PMC. Consequently, when expenses are generated from the PR, taxes default to the expense account instead of the mapped tax account.
With this enhancement, when PRs are created, taxes will default to the mapped tax account for the PMC. Subsequently, when expenses are created from the PR, taxes will default to the mapped tax account.
- The CRM no longer throws an error message related to the lease balance, which was preventing both a Building and Lease update from Yardi
- The CRM now allows posting of lease adjustments in the past. The current Target Date field is now appropriately named Post Date, and the Received Date field is no longer showing.
- System was not allowing the creation of PRs due to a designated GL account for Tax On Purchases. This type of account allocates the tax amount to the correct GL account. The issue has been resolved. To specify a Tax On Purchases account, open a GL account and edit the Account Type to Tax On Purchases.
