Alerts is a way to set up notifications for you and your staff for certain system actions. Examples would be Non Sufficient Funds (NSF) Notifications, Applications in Progress, and more.
Step 1: To setup Alerts go to Organization --> Employees

Step 2: Choose an employee
Here we will select Cookie Kwan as an example.

Step 3: Click on Alerts tab -> Select the Edit Pencil logo

Step 4: Select the appropriate Alerts for this employee
Under Notify My Changes, you can choose:
- Notify Me
OR
- Do Not Notify Me.
Click on +Add to select the alerts concerned.

Here is the list of Alert Type available:
| Alert Type | Application in Progress | Choose this Alert if you want to receive an alert every time an application has been started |
| Application Submitted | Choose this Alert if you want to receive an alert when an application has been completed and has been submitted | |
| Application Pending Decision | Choose this Alert if you are the decision maker and the application requires a decision | |
| Application Pre Approved | Choose this Alert if you want to receive an alert if an application has been pre-approved. | |
| Application Approved | Choose this Alert if you want to receive an alert if an application has been approved | |
| Application Declined | Choose this Alert if you want to receive an alert if an application has been Declined | |
| Application Information Required | Choose this Alert if you want to receive an alert if an application has been deemed to require further information | |
| Application Lease Signing | Choose this Alert if you are the signing authority on the lease to be advised once all tenants have signed and the Lease is now requiring your final signature | |
| Application Payment Not Cleared | Choose this Alert if you want to receive an alert if an application payment was not cleared | |
| Electronic Payment Rejected | Choose this Alert if you want to receive an alert if an electronic payment has been rejected | |
| Auto Pay Review Required | Choose this Alert if you want to receive an alert when an autopay review is required | |
| AutoPay Cancelled By Tenant | Choose this Alert if you want to receive an alert when a tenant cancels autopay | |
| AutoPay Created By Tenant | Choose this Alert if you want to receive an alert when a tenant sets up autopay | |
| Maintenance Request | Choose this Alert if you want to receive an alert when a tenant initiates a maintenance request | |
| Billing Alert | Choose this Alert if you want to be notified if a billing has not been paid | |
| Lease Renewal | Choose this Alert if you want to be notified of up and coming renewals | |
| Accounting | Choose this Alert if you want to be notified when a closed month is reopened |
Once the type of alert is selected, we must also note the buildings/ portfolios for which the alerts should be sent.
Step 5: Click Save once complete
