How to Deactivate or Suspend a Building in CRM

This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to deactivate or suspend a building in the CRM system.

When to Use This

Suspending a building may be necessary if the property has been sold or is no longer being managed.

Steps to Deactivate or Suspend a Building

  1. Navigate to Buildings
    Log in to the CRM and go to Properties > Buildings from the main menu.

  2. Search for the Building
    Use the search filters to locate the building you want to deactivate or suspend.

  3. Suspend the Building
    Open the building record, then navigate to Actions and select Suspend Building.

 

Once completed, the building will be marked as suspended in the system. The Suspended field on the building General tab will show as Yes. 

 

Note: Suspending a building may impact related records or workflows. Please ensure this action is appropriate before proceeding.
