Property Vista (PV) syncs all vendors found in Voyager. These vendors can be used in PV for various transactions such as Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), Maintenance Requests (MRs), and many others. When creating these transactions, selecting a building is usually mandatory. Sometimes a vendor does not appear for a specific building, because that vendor does not have access to that building, as configured in Voyager. To allow a vendor to be used in a building, the building needs to be added to the Property List of that vendor in Voyager.
1. Open the vendor in question in Voyager
2. Go to Data > Prop List
3. Enter the property on the list and Save
There is another way to achieve a similar result. This method allows you to add a vendor to a property, but the effect is the same as when adding a property to a vendor.
1. Go to System Administration: Security > Vendor Property Security
2. The filter appears
3. Select the property for which you want to set up vendor access. If you enter a property list in the filter, the system returns all the properties on the list, but you must set up each property individually.
4. Click Submit. The Vendor Property Security screen appears.
5. The vendors can also be filtered based on the Code, Name and Address
6. Select and move the vendors between the Access and No Access panels as needed. Save when ready.
